Getting underneath the real development need
I work with people who understand – we’re in this together, working alongside you, to get to know you, your team and your organisation. This means I can get underneath what the real development need is and facilitate positive change which lasts.
I work with the leadership team, Founder or CEO to evolve and implement people solutions that work for your organisation. I will literally sit alongside you as we work it out together, mentoring, coaching, creating. You will have the ownership and the understanding of how to develop those solutions further in the future.
Learning that sticks
My coaching sessions and workshops are experiential and varied. We move and map things out, we use indoor and outdoor space, we listen, we talk, we reflect.
Using variety and ‘whole brain’ experiences means that learning sticks. I incorporate real life scenarios & issues where possible, providing participants the opportunity to solve and implement immediately.
I’ve worked with a wide variety of organisations from large corporates such as B&Q, BUPA, Kwik Fit, mydentist and Muller. Public sector, retail, service, hospitality, healthcare, charities and community interest companies. And smaller, changing or growing organisations, where I can work alongside you. building solutions together which really reflect your culture and ways of working.

I’ve also set up my own highly successful team within a multi-million pound corporate, so I understand the challenges of developing yourself & working with others.
As well as developing an acquisition pipeline for a dental corporate start up – so I’ve worked at the ‘coal face’ too!
Because of my varied experience I adapt to working with any kind of organisation. This also means I have a depth of experience and knowledge which is literally at my fingertips, so I can share insights and reflections as the needs arise.
I keep my skills and knowledge up to date, CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) qualified, an NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) practitioner & having over 20 years of experience as a coach and facilitator I take my continuous development seriously and have recently completed a Foundation in Transactional Analysis, which is all about ourselves in relationship to others, and developing more effective interactions.
I have held a couple of non-exec board positions, previously as Chair for Fordhall Community Land Initiative and currently as a board member with Wessex Resolutions.
I work nationally and live in Somerset, so I’m passionate about recognising the South West as an attractive option for developing businesses.
My favourite thing about living in Somerset is that I am never far from the sea. The best thing about that is eating fish and chips on the beach!
